FINAL ACTIVITY


LEARNER PREPARATION:

Students should be prepared to think through the purpose and objective of each activity and think critically about which projects were the most representative of these objectives.  They should be ready to reflect on what they learned.

OBJECTIVES: 

The final activity is designed to showcase the students work in the unit.  Students will be given a chance to show what they have learned by participating in this unit.  They will also be required to articulate their thoughts on the concepts through essays.

MEDIA AND MATERIALS: 

~ Class Web Space

~ Web Development Application, such as Frontpage

~ Projects from the previous activities

USE OF RESOURCES:  

Students will use these materials and resources to design a webpage that displays examples of the products from these activities.

LEARNER PARTICIPATION:  

The class will work together to decide on 2-3 examples from each activity to be displayed on the class website.  As they reflect on the work that has been done, students will become prepared for the written essays portion of the final activity.

EVALUATION OF UNIT:

Upon completion of the class webpages, students will conclude the unit with a written exam in essay format.  Potential questions are as follows:

The teacher will assess the students answers to these questions to determine a final grade for the unit.
